His experience spans across agency and in-house recruiting, having served as both a Recruiter and Account Manager at top staffing firms. In-house, he has led international and local hiring initiatives, hosted tech talks and events, mentored and trained recruiting teams, and successfully sourced candidates for senior and leadership roles.

ABOUT ME

I’m a passionate and trusted Recruitment Advisor and Consultant with over a decade of experience in sourcing, recruitment, and account management.

My journey began at Randstad, where I was proud to receive the “Best Candidate Service – Western Canada” award, along with several Presidents Club Awards and four promotions. At any given time, I managed over 150 temporary workers while juggling business development, 360 recruiting, and end-to-end client and candidate support.

From there, I joined Ignite Technical Resources, quickly becoming the top Technical Sourcer within a year. I later transitioned into an Account Manager role, supporting more than 20 clients and leading a team of Sourcers. I still maintain a strong relationship with the Founders to this day.

My next chapter was at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where I helped scale teams across Western Canada. At the peak of my role, I partnered with 21 hiring managers across 17 teams and 4 organizations. I organized Tech Talks, supported both local and international hiring events, sourced leadership talent, and closely collaborated with hiring managers to attract top-tier candidates.

Later, I joined Meta (formerly Facebook) as one of the first recruiters in Canada. I played a key role in building out the company’s Canadian footprint, while recruiting across North America as a subject matter expert. During my time there, I led recruitment projects, ran company-wide training sessions for over 700 employees, mentored colleagues, hosted weekly sourcing sessions, and served as a Diversity Ambassador for more than 2.5 years. I maintained a 95% candidate satisfaction rating over three years and ranked in the top 95th percentile of Technical Sourcers globally.

Most recently, I joined Jane App during a pivotal growth phase. I was the sole full-time Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner, leading all product and engineering hiring across a 250+ person organization. Over my time there, Jane doubled in size—from 300 to over 600 employees—and the number of practices using Jane grew from 30,000 to more than 54,000. We surpassed $100M in ARR and proudly received the 2024 BC Tech Anchor Award.

Beyond these roles, I’ve also had the privilege of advising several startups—from pre-seed onward—helping them build and scale high-performing teams from the ground up.
